31st December 2012 Millgate Museum has now closed.
A new museum for the town will open in 2014.
If you wish to study the museum collection, please contact the Museum Resource Centre , Brunel Drive, Newark.

Millgate Museum is the main visitor attraction in the Millgate ot today.
It is a 'folk life' museum, concentrating on the homes, business and commerce of a century ago

There is a mezzanine gallery, used for talks organised by local interest groups, including the Millgate Conservation Society
There is a shop which sells local-interest books and souvenir items
Exhibitons are held by local artists/photgraphers: these also in the Gallery

The Museum hosts the Millgate Parish Map, which was produced in 1997, displayed in the entrance foyer

Opening Hours
Tuesday to Sundays; also Bank holidays, 10.30am-4.30pm
(closes at 4pm, and on Sundays 1pm-4pm 1st October to 31st March)
